In an interview with The Takedown on SI, Matt Hardy confirmed that he and his brother Jeff have re-signed with TNA Wrestling.
Terms of the new contract were not disclosed, though The Takedown noted that The Hardys would be around “for the foreseeable future.”
The pair have teamed in TNA since Jeff’s return to the company at the close of Against All Odds 2024, winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Bound For Glory in a Full Metal Mayhem match against The System and ABC.
Talking about their status with the company, Matt stated:
We worked on a handshake deal all the way through to winning the titles and having the titles for a month. So it’s been a great relationship with trust between us and TNA management. Everything they’ve said they were going to do, they followed through with. Everything we said we were going to do, we followed through with. It just feels right.
Jeff was previously a part of TNA as far back as 2004, with Matt making his debut for the company in 2011.
