Fightful has reported that El Hijo Del Vikingo sustained an injury during a match at TNA Wrestling’s IMPACT tapings on 10/27.
The match, which saw Vikingo take on Trent Seven, was stopped after a springboard dive to the outside led to the injury.
As noted by PWInsider, several agents came out after the referee threw up the “X” signaling the injury, with Vikingo being taken out of the building on a stretcher by legitimate EMS.
The injury comes one night after Vikingo challenged for the X-Division Title at TNA Bound For Glory, following an injury that kept him sidelined from February to September.
