Fightful Select has reported that WWE has been closely monitoring feedback coming in regarding the direction of their music production, with the company “well aware” of fan backlash in the past.
The report comes after WWE posted a job listing for a Director of Music Strategy and Operations, though it is said the role is not the same as Jim Johnston previously held as composer.
Talents within the company previously expressed frustration with the production of their theme music, notably different from that produced by CFO$.
In addition, several members of the production department looking for a new method being used in the future.
Despite this, the report notes that there has not yet been a plan to replace the current producer of WWE’s music, Def Rebel, as of earlier this year.
