Fightful Select has provided backstage news on AJ Styles, Chelsea Green, the 10/4 episode of SmackDown, Monday Night Raw and the list of producers for the matches and segments that took place on SmackDown.
The news is as follows:
-AJ Styles is not injured. It is said that WWE actually planned for the injury angle upon Styles’ return. His match against Carmello Hayes on the 10/4 SmackDown saw Styles sustain a leg injury and then have the referee stop the match and declaring Hayes as the winner.
-Chelsea Green received high praise for for her part in the Dumpster Match against Michin on the 10/4 episode of SmackDown. In addition, Green received a lot of internal praise for her on-screen work in the last two video packages. Those were said to have been taped back-to-back. Furthermore, it was said that there were a number of photos taken and skits recorded after the match, which are expected to be made available soon.
–WWE was reportedly pleased with the performances of the Bloodline, DIY and The Street Profits during Friday night’s Tag Team Triple Threat Ladder Match. In addition, WWE was said to also have been please which how the match turned out altogether.
-On the internal run sheet for SmackDown, the show was named #Trashville.
-As suspected or as some have expected, Monday Night Raw will get a makeover, with a new logo and updated production when it debuts on Netflix this January.
–SmackDown creative team writer Chad Barbash was responsible for penning the AJ Styles opening promo segment and SmackDown creative team writer Sondra Lacey put together the opening of the show.

-Petey Williams produced the Dumpster Match between Michin and Chelsea Green
-Shane Helms produced the segment between Bayley, Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton and Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton
Tag-Team Title Ladder Match: Street Profits vs. DIY vs. Bloodline did not have a producer listed
-Nick Aldis produced the WWE Speed taping with matches to crown the first-ever Speed Women’s Champion. Those matches were Kairi Sane vs. Candice LeRae and Candice LaRae vs. IYO SKY. LaRae was crowned the first-ever champion.
