According to Dave Meltzer at The Wrestling Observer/F4WOnline, Gunther defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn is listed internally for WWE’s Bad Blood premium live event.
Following last month’s Bash in Berlin, Zayn has been confronting Gunther about getting a world title shot. Gunther has kept rejecting Zayn’s challenge.
Bad Blood will air live on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, October 5, beginning at 6:00 pm ET, due to the UFC PPV main card starting at 10:00 pm ET.
More matches are expected to be announced during tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.
