During a recent edition of Straight Talk with The Boss, co-host Greg Gagne was asked about Jesse Ventura’s recent appearance on WWE Raw.
Stating he would be interested in making a similar appearance if asked, Gagne went on to address what he believes are plans in the works for the WWE Hall of Famer:
Right now, I mean, with what they’re paying those guys to come in, I think Jesse’s going to do the — they’re doing some NBC Saturday night shows, about four of them, they’re gonna use Jesse for that.
Ventura was a prominent voice on the commentary team during the former World Wrestling Federation’s national expansion in the 1980s, which included the initial run of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
WWE recently filed a new trademark for Saturday Night’s Main Event, following reports of the company working with NBC for a live primetime special in December.
