Reason WWE Bad Blood will have an earlier start time

WWE Bad Blood on Saturday, October 5 will have a start time of 6:00pm ET, instead of 7:00 pm ET as originally advertised. According to PWInsider, this is not a typo.

The reason for the earlier start time is due to UFC 307 scheduled for that same night at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. According to PWInsider and F4WOnline, the pay-per-view portion of the show is set to begin at 10:00 pm ET. Endeavor does not want each show to run opposite each other.

The premium live event will take place from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

This will be the first Bad Blood event in 20 years. It will take place 27 years to the day of the original show, Badd Blood: In Your House, which was held on October 5, 1997, at the then Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The venue is now the Enterprise Center. That pay-per-view’s main event featured the first-ever Hell in a Cell Match with Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker, which also included the debut of Undertaker’s storyline brother Kane.

WWE would go to hold two more Bad Blood events, dropping the second d in Bad The other two events took place back on June 15, 2003 and June 14, 2024. Both of those PPV events featured Hell in a Cell Matches.
