Backstage news on Bryan Danielson ahead of Sunday’s AEW All In: London PPV

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Bryan Danielson was approved by doctors to being able to wrestle at All In on Sunday.

Danielson has been working in AEW without an active contract for the past three weeks and still continues to handle his duties as part of AEW’s Disciplinary Committee. Sources within AEW expects there will be efforts to reach sometime of working agreement with Danielson.

Fightful Select notes that Tony Khan is said to have a great deal of trust in Danielson, who is seen as selfless and fully invested in the growth of AEW and the current roster.

The report also notes that Danielson pushed many times for him not to given a title run in AEW, including to go as so far with the creative process to lobby for him to lose most of his matches.

At the time of Fightful Select’s report, there has been no word as to whether Danielson has said his goodbyes to anyone in AEW.

Danielson is faces Swerve Strickland at Sunday’s All In at Wembley Stadium for the AEW World Championship. If Danielson loses, he will be forced to retire.
