A concert by Joe Hendry closed out the night. The crowd was hot for the concert. Hendry told the fans how much he appreciated all the support he has had in NXT. He then said he had wrote a new song, about his No Mercy opponent, Ethan Page. He began to sing with the chorus of the song, which was “Ethan sucks, believe in Joe; Ethan put on some clothes.”

The crowd sang along with him for a while. Ethan Page eventually came out and the crowd would not let him speak, as they sang the chorus over and over and over. Ethan finally got to speak. NXT General Manager Ava came out let him know due to his disrespectful behavior towards the NXT officials, she has decided to appoint a special guest referee for his NXT Title match against Joe Hendry at No Mercy. The crowd erupted when Trick Williams came out to reveal he will be the special referee. Page then went to attack Hendry, but Hendry dodged him and applied The Standing Ovation to Page. Trick went down to make the three count and Hendry pinned Page. They both celebrated as Hendry posed with the title to close the show.

After the taping for tv ended, the crowd kept on singing to Page, who played it up with the crowd being upset about the song and acted frustrated. They kept, however on taping for about 5 or 6 minutes for what might be used as a YouTube clip next week.
