Following speculation on the health of Vince McMahon, the former WWE executive’s attorney Jessica Rosenberg has issued a statement to Wrestlenomics, stating:
Vince’s health is fine. We have no idea where the rumor that he had health issues came from, but it is not true.
The speculation stems from a YouTube video uploaded by Lee Cole, who claimed that Linda McMahon has shared concerns that her husband’s health is declining, later citing a source that “worked for the McMahons for seven years.”
Lee is the brother of the late Tom Cole, a former WWF ring attendant of the 1980s and 1990s who later alleged that, as a minor, he was sexually assaulted by ring announcer Mel Phillips and sexually harassed by then-WWF Vice President of Operations, Terry Garvin.
Vince McMahon had spinal surgery in July 2023, which was acknowledged by WWE in an earnings call around that time.
Rosenberg is currently representing McMahon in an ongoing lawsuit, filed by Janel Grant in January.
