John Cena commented on social media following the in-ring involvement of Jelly Roll during WWE SummerSlam.
The music star, who opened the PLE with a performance of “America The Beautiful” and “Liar,” appeared during a segment featuring Awesome Truth and A-Town Down Under, in which Jelly Roll delivered a chair shot to Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, with a chokeslam and five knuckle shuffle delivered on the latter alongside The Miz and R-Truth.
The last of these was a nod to Cena, humorously considered Truth’s “childhood hero,” who will embark on a retirement tour throughout 2025.
