In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Jordynne Grace talked about the rivalry between TNA Wrestling and NXT, including her hopes for a proper event that sees the two brands go head-to-head:
I’ve mentioned this before–my big dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view. I think that’s going to be a slow build. And the world probably isn’t ready, but when it happens, they’re going to see TNA beat NXT.
The TNA Knockouts World Champion, who wrapped up a recent tour of Japan, is set to defend the title against Ash By Elegance at TNA Slammiversary, which emanates from Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
On competing in front of the sold-out crowd in celebration of TNA’s anniversary event, Grace said:
It’s our first time back in Montreal in over a decade, and we’re closing on a sellout of around four-thousand people. That’s the biggest crowd I’ll have wrestled in front of in TNA over the past eight years.
TNA Slammiversary 2024 can be purchased via TrillerTV for $39.99 to catch all the exciting action on Saturday, July 20, including a massive elimination match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
