WWE Superstar IYO SKY defeated Utami Hayashishita at the Marigold Summer Destiny event held at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan on Saturday.
Several media outlets are reporting the former WWE Women’s Champion pinned Hayashishita after a tombstone piledriver and then a moonsault.
After the match, SKY thanked Hayashishita, WWE and Marigold.
SKY was not the only WWE Superstar to wrestle in Japan on Saturday. AJ Styles took on Naomichi Marufuji at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Destination 2024 event on Saturday, which was held at Budokan Hall in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan.
