Rhea Ripley made her surprise return to WWE Raw at the end of July 8 episode.
Ripley’s return took place after the main event match, in which Dominik Mysterio and current Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan defeated Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega in a mixed tag team match.
During Monday’s episode of Raw, Dominik and Morgan were shown in a backstage segment where they were caught yet again in a compromising position. Dominik continues to play out that he is not interested in the advances coming from Morgan.
Ripley has been out of action since April, due to a legitimate shoulder injury, which was caused by Morgan in a backstage segment, where Rhea’s shoulder hit the concrete wall. During the April 15 episode of Raw, Ripley was forced to vacate the title as a result of her injury.
According to a report in June from F4WOnline, Ripley opted with rehabbing her shoulder, instead of choosing to undergo surgery. The same report also noted that it was also said surgery remained “on the table” should the rehab not be successful. At the time of their report, it was said that Ripley would not be cleared in time to compete at SummerSlam.
