Wrestleview reader Jon Hemming was in attendance at Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, which took place from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY.
AEW taped this Saturday’s Collision, which is the go-home show for Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
Jon provided to us the following Collision spoilers:
The following match was taped for Collision, before Dynamite went on the air. Serena Deeb defeated Kelly Madden in a one minute squash match. After the match, Deeb cut a promo, which then led to Riho coming out for a face off.
The rest of the Collision taping began at 10:15 pm ET.
Prior to the taping, Tony Khan came out and did a quick cheap pop promo before the Collision taping. He joked about Time Cop being his favorite movie and everyone are time travelers.
-Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Robbie Eagles and Shane Haste in match that went maybe 12 minutes in length.
-Stephanie Vaquer defeated Lady Frost. Mercedes Mone’ was at ringside. After the match, Vaquer left the ring. Zeuxis to attacked Mone’. Mone gets the upper hand and Vaquer comes into stand tall at the end.
-Learning Tree Segment leads to a fight with Samoa Joe’s team in the back, to the ring. Jeff Cobb comes in to make the save for Jericho’s team.
-Hechicero defeated Kevin Blackwood by submission. This wasn’t a long match, but Blackwood did receive some support.
-Patriarchy cut a promo about going after the Unified Trios Championships, but the Bang Bang Gang interrupted them
Daniel Garcia pinned The Butcher, who came out wearing Buffalo Bills Colored trunks
-Jack Perry cut a promo
-Hikaru Shida defeated Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna attacked Shida after the match. Thunder Rosa came in to make the save.
-AEW International Champion Will Ospreay cut a promo, only to be interrupted by the Don Callis Family. Ospreay asked for backup at ringside. Rush appeared at the end and Callis then joined commentary.
-Trios Match: Jack Perry, El Phantasmo and Konosuke Takeshita defeated ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, Dante’ Martin and Lio Rush. Everyone took turns fighting to hold the belts. Briscoe dove off a ladder to the end the segment. There were fun chants towards Perry and “Oh Cry Me A River” to the tune of 7 national army. Perry sometimes called for the tag, but it looked like he intentionally dodged Phantasmo and Takeshita.
-Weigh-in segment between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland

Jon also provided us with dark match results, which took place before Dynamite, along with some notes from Dynamite:
Dark Match: EJ Nduka defeated Marcus Mathers
-Biggest pops were Daniel Garcia and MJF
-Loudest chops were from Jay White
-Swerve had the most ongoing chants
-Most of the NJPW wrestlers didn’t get much of a reaction, such as Gabe Kidd. This could have been from crowd exhaustion in the middle of the show.
LiL’s intro was quiet, but Naito received a good reaction
