Live gate figures revealed for AEW Double Or Nothing

Wrestlenomics has reported that AEW Double Or Nothing drew $582,204 in ticket sales at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 26, accounting for 9,099 ticket buyers per new data from Pollstar.

The report further notes that AEW budgeted its cost for both the pay-per-view and Collision the night before, which drew $112,298 from 3,944 ticket sales, at a combined figure of $3,868,200 according to documents submitted by the company to the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

The profitability of the event remains to be seen as details have not yet come out for pay-per-view sales as of this writing.

The live gate is being touted as one of the highest of the year for AEW, following a more than $1 million gate for Revolution.

Double Or Nothing 2023, which emanated from the T-Mobile Arena, drew $964,349 for 10,850 ticket sales, by comparison.

The fifth anniversary event for AEW saw “Anarchy In The Arena” between The Elite and Team AEW, Swerve Strickland defending the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage, and Mercedes Mone’ challenging Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship as marquee matches.
