MJF says he believes in AEW, feels great after his return, talks Forbidden Door

AEW star MJF recently spoke with FOX 5 in New York.

MJF was asked about signing a new deal with AEW. He also said that he believes in AEW as believes it is where the best wrestle.

“Look, it was a very easy decision for me, mainly because, Tony, is paying me an exorbitant amount of money. But outside of that, I also, I believe in AEW. I believe that it’s where the best wrestle. I believe that we have some of the most top-tier elite talent you get to see in the world today.”

MJF returned to AEW after a lengthly absence, due to some injuries that need to heal. He made his return at last month’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas. He said that he is physically ready.

“I’m ready to go 110 million percent. I feel great. I look great. Let’s be honest. Can we get a shot of these guys? I mean, come on. I’m ready. I’m ready. I’m absolutely ready.”

MJF returned to in-ring action his first match back with AEW, against RUSH on this past Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. MJF is set to wrestle Hechicero at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV in his hometown of Long Island, New York at the USB Arena.
