On a recent episode of Grilling JR, Jim Ross discuss the possibility of Shane McMahon working in AEW, with an update coming from co-host Conrad Thompson in a follow-up conversation.
Citing a “friend” providing the information, Thompson stated that McMahon has “reached out to wrestlers on the AEW roster” to discuss the idea, at least hypothetically.
Ross made note of Shane’s “great name identity,” being recognizable to a wide span of wrestling fans.
McMahon last appeared in WWE at WrestleMania 39, competing against The Miz in an impromptu match before a quad injury forced guest host Snoop Dogg to take his place.
