Asuka posted a new vlog on her YouTube channel, revealing she has had knee surgery.
The former WWE Women’s Champion noted the 90-minute surgery was a success according to her doctors, allowing Asuka to be discharged the following day.
The update comes after a vlog in May where Asuka talked about getting treatment on her knee after the European tour.
She last wrestled in a tag team match at WWE Backlash alongside Kairi Sane against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
The injury forced Asuka to be replaced by Dakota Kai in the Queen of the Ring tournament, with no timetable on her return as of this writing.
