Per PWInsider, it is ‘likely’ that there will be a cross-promotion with NXT and TNA Wrestling stars, after what went down on Tuesday night’s NXT.
According to the report, the word backstage at Tuesday night’s NXT in Orlando, was that TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace making her surprise appearance on the show and challenging Roxanne Perez at the Battleground PLE on June 9, will not be the only WWE-TNA collaboration in the days ahead.
PWInsider further notes the belief among those they spoke with, is that there will be some sort of NXT representation on future TNA Wrestling PPV events and programming as well.
TNA Wrestling has upcoming events in the Chicago area next month at Cicero Stadium, with the Against All Odds PPV on June 14 and TV tapings in the same venue the very next day. It is not confirmed by PWInsider or any other source at the time of this writing, if there will be any NXT talent appearing on those events.
