PWInsider has confirmed that the upcoming WWE Legends Biography episode on Extreme Championship Wrestling is set to premiere on the A&E network on Sunday, June 23.
The episode, subtitled “Birth of Hardcore,” marks the fourth major documentary on the company that ran from 1993 until 2001, following WWE’s Rise and Fall of ECW in 2004, Forever Hardcore from Jeremy Borash released in June 2005, and 2013’s Barbed Wire City from John Philapavage and Kevin Kierman.
Other episodes set to air for the series will feature topics on Eddie Guerrero, Ricky Steamboat, Rob Van Dam, and more.
