WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley officiated the wedding on May 4 in Los Angeles, CA.
Musician Nita Strauss and her manager Josh Villalta were married in what is Strauss told PEOPLE was “Heavy Metal Dream Wedding.” The ceremony took place at the Hollywood Roosevelt. Strauss is also a touring guitarist for Demi Lovato and Alice Cooper.
The wedding consisted of 120 guests, including Alice Cooper and his wife Sheryl, who both did a special reading. Strauss and Cooper also performed together at the wedding.
PEOPLE notes that Strauss and Villalta first met in back in 2011 when they were introduced by mutual friends in the driveway of the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood. Villalta proposed to Strauss onstage at their album release show at the Whisky A Go Go club in July 2023.
After heading straight into production for two upcoming music festivals Strauss and Villalta are performing in with Strauss’ band, the newly married couple take their honeymoon in the Greek islands.
