Next Monday on WWE Raw, a new Women’s World Champion will be crowned after Rhea Ripley vacated the title due to a legitimate shoulder injury.
Ripley held the title for 380 days. Her most recent title defense took place at WrestleMania 40 Night One.
WWE did not provide any details on who the participants will be for the match.
During this week’s episode of Raw, Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) was presented with brand new Tag Team Titles by Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The Raw Tag Team Championship was renamed to the World Tag Team Championship.
The new Tag Team Champions will defend the titles against #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano). #DIY earned the title opportunity by defeating The New Day and The Creed Brothers in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match on Monday’s Raw show.
Also set for next week’s Raw is Andrade and Ricochet versus The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Next Monday’s WWE Raw will air live on the USA Network at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
