In a WWE digital exclusive following the 4/8 edition of RAW, Damian Priest revealed he has signed a new contract with the company.
Talking to Cathy Kelley about what he’s been through this year, Priest stated:
This has already been a great year for me. New contract, new title, new theme song voiced by yours truly. Judgment Day is on fire.
Priest won his first world title at WrestleMania, cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Night Two following Drew McIntyre’s win over Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The new champion is already set to defend the title next week as he takes on Jey Uso, who earned his opportunity in a Fatal Four-Way match in the RAW main event against McIntyre, Bronson Reed, and Ricochet.
Priest took time to address his challenger, promising to “beat the yeet” out of Jey when the two face off on the 4/15 edition of RAW.
