Bayley is the new WWE Women’s Champion.
Bayley defeated IYO SKY at WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, to win the championship.
Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two recap, of how it all went down.
Bayley sets up for a Rose Plant, but Sky begs her off. Sky then floors the challenger with a straight right hand. Sky laughs at Bayley, so Bayley pops up and punches her in the face. Bayley talks to Sky, so Sky slaps her down. Bayley gets up, and they begin brawling. Sky counters out of Bayley-to-Belly with a roll-up for a two-count. Sky crushes her with a double underhook backbreaker. Sky goes to the top rope and hits an Over the Moonsault! 1… 2… Bayley kicks out! Sky cannot believe it. Sky punches away at Bayley and hits a standing moonsault. Sky goes to the second rope and hits another moonsault block. Sky goes to the top rope for an Over the Moonsault, but she lands on her feet when Bayley moves. Bayley goes for a Rose Plant, but Sky flips through it! The crowd is in shock. Sky charges, but Bayley almost turns her inside out with a clothesline. Sky tried to flip, but she barely rotated and landed high on her neck.
Bayley drops Sky with a back suplex and heads to the top rope. She crushes her with a flying elbow drop and follows up with a Rose Plant! 1… 2… 3! Bayley has done it!
