Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 Night Two, in the opening match. However, after he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, Judgment Day’s Damian Priest in the now the new World Heavyweight Champion.
After the match, McIntyre went over to CM Punk, who was still seated at commentary. McIntyre warned him not to speak badly about him, or he would take him out longer. McIntyre stood on the commentary table and then told Punk to “suck it.”
Punk grabbed McIntyre’s feet and he dropped to the table and then the floor. Punk took off his brace! Punk removed his jacket and attacked McIntyre with his arm brace.
Damian Priest then ran down and nailed McIntyre in the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Priest shouted out that he was cashing in! Priest tossed McIntyre into the ring. The referee called for the bell. Priest grabbed McIntyre by the throat and dropped him with a big South of Heaven! Priest covered McIntyre to get the win.
