Shotzi suffered a bad knee injury during this past Tuesday night’s NXT TV tapings in an NXT Women’s Title Match, challenging Lyra Valkyria for the belt. The match, was scheduled to air on February 20 had to be stopped after Shotzi injured her knee.
Shotzi hit her knee against the side of the ring during a spot that was planned before the match going into a commercial break.
Shotzi was scheduled to square off against Tiffany Stratton on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Howerver, due to her injury, she was replaced by Zelina Vega.
Shotzi took to X, saying she is heart broken over missing Elimination Chamber and would open up more about her injury at a later date.
