The Rock’s daughter, Ava, who is the on-screen NXT General Manager took to X, saying she has been receiving death threats over the current storyline with her dad, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
Cody Rhodes was expected to announce on last Friday’s WWE SmackDown, that he would be finishing his story this year at WrestleMania 40. However, Rhodes will not finish his story, as The Rock instead will replace Rhodes at the big two-night event, by challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The Rock was booed when video packages featuring The Rock from SmackDown were shown at a WWE House Show on Saturday and at Sunday’s Vengeance Day PLE. Rocky sucks chants took place at Monday’s WWE Raw in St. Louis, MO, which could clearly be heard during the broadcast.
During Monday’s WWE Raw, Michael Cole said on commentary that while not yet official, The Rock could be challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 40.
