It has been reported by the Wall Street Journal that there is an ongoing investigation regarding sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations against Vince McMahon, following a lawsuit filed against the now-former TKO chairman.
According to WSJ, federal prosecutors in New York have been in contact with other women who previously accused McMahon of sexual misconduct, seeking any communications made between them and the former WWE CEO.
Per F4WOnline, the report makes note of at least five women named in a subpoena, including Janel Grant, who had settlement agreements with McMahon, some of whom having been previously interviewed by prosecutors.
The investigation was launched in 2022, around the time McMahon initially stepped away from WWE as allegations first began coming up against him.
Fightful Select has also reported that higher ups appear to be moving on past McMahon, to “put him in the rearview.” as WWE attempts to dissociate themselves with the former chairman.
Following news of the lawsuit, McMahon resigned as executive chairman of TKO Group.
