DJ Whoo Kid recounts ‘very intense’ situation at AEW All In

During an appearance on the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts show on SiriusXM, DJ Whoo Kid talked about his time backstage ahead of AEW All In.

Set to be a part of Swerve Strickland’s entrance at the event, the DJ recounted what he saw backstage:

“You already know what happened in the back, it was a straight brawl city. So, I’m not going to talk about that. It was blood and killing and death.”

Following some clarification from Sam Roberts on the situation between CM Punk and Jack Perry, Whoo Kid continued:

“Think about it. It was like the biggest moment for AEW and, I guess, he was trying to sabotage that moment. He wasn’t trying to go out there. I’m in the middle, you know me, I’m a fly on the wall.

It was very intense. You know, I always thought it was fake and all this s–t.”

The DJ would go on to refer to “a big guy” backstage he believed to be “Hawaiian-looking” working to rally the roster after the altercation occurred.

“The s–t that’s crazy is there was a yelling moment where he was like ‘Yo, f–k this s–t, this is our moment, everybody get the f–k out there and do your s–t!’ And I was like, I don’t even know how to wrestle but I was about to go out there. It was very intense, man. I will always respect wrestling after I saw that.”

There is speculation that the man Whoo Kid is referring to is Samoa Joe, but nothing is confirmed as of time of writing.

The DJ will next be appearing at TNA Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view, debuting a new music video with AJ Francis (formerly Top Dolla).
