WWE Superstar and current NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee announced on Twitter he is dealing with visa issues and will not appear on Tuesday’s New Year’s Evil episode of NXT as scheduled.
Lee did further note that the LWO has a big surprise for tomorrow night’s show.
According to PWInsider, Dragon Lee’s new work visa for WWE in the United States and that it has been approved, except due to the holidays. It was further said that the new visa did not arrive in time for him to travel back to the United States to work NXT New Year’s Evil.
This has already begun speculation that the big surprise will Andrade El Idolo, who finished up with AEW this past Saturday at the Worlds End PPV, after El Idolo and AEW were not able to come to terms on a new deal.
Andrade has been speculated as the former WWE Champion teased for the Day 1 episode of WWE Raw.
PWInsider, further notes that Lee is expected back in the United States relatively soon and could even be back as soon as this Friday’s Smackdown.
