Following a report from Fightful Select regarding his future in AEW, Shawn Spears confirmed via social media that he was departing from the company.
Spears joined AEW in 2019, feuding with Cody Rhodes early on before joining the ranks of the Pinnacle during his run with the company.
His last match on AEW programming was at All Out 2023, as part of the Over Budget Battle Royale.
