ESPN highlights WWE, AEW in 2023 Pro Wrestling Awards

ESPN has revealed its Pro Wrestling Awards for 2023, looking across multiple promotions to determine the best wrestlers, matches, and shows of the year.

The resulting awards, while largely WWE-focused, also acknowledge the work put in by AEW stars in what turned out to be a very impactful year for both companies.

There was even a small representation of New Japan Pro Wrestling in the runners up in certain categories, as Giulia tied with IYO SKY just shy of Female Wrestler of the Year, and Mercedes Mone was given a nod just short of the Year.
