During Monday night’s WWE Raw, Michael Cole confirmed that CM Punk is a “free agent,” which allows him to appear on both Punk will appear on Friday’s WWE SmackDown.
Punk will appear on this Friday night’s special Tribute to the Troops episode of SmackDown, live on FOX, which will take place from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, RI. Cole also teased during Raw that both Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis will each make offers to Punk. He is being billed by WWE as the “hottest free agent” in the company
Punk made his surprise return to WWE at the Survivor Series back on November 25.
