IYO SKY is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair on next Friday night’s SmackDown.
The match was made official by the new WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis on this week’s episode. Aldis said Flair would have become the new WWE Women’s Champion at WWE Fastlane if the referee had not been distracted by Bayley.
Also set for next week’s SmackDown is LWO’s Santos Escobar vs. Montez Ford of The Street Profits. The match was made after Ford and Angelo Dawkins attacked Carlito, who is aligned with the LWO.
Next Friday night’s WWE SmackDown will air live on FOX and emanate from the Frost Bank Center (formerly the AT&T Center) in San Antonio, Texas.
