After making his return to WWE at Fastlane to team with Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar of the LWO, Carlito has officially been added to the WWE roster as a Smackdown competitor, per the WWE website.
Carlito joined WWE as a part of SmackDown in 2004, winning the WWE United States Championship from John Cena on his first night with the company.
After an extended hiatus following his release in 2010, Carlito made smaller appearances including the 2021 Royal Rumble before getting involved in the San Juan Street Fight between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest at Backlash this past May.
Per Fightful, Triple H had noted during the WWE Fastlane Press Conference that he was looking forward to seeing what Carlito does this time around.
