According to a new report from F4WOnline, CM Punk intends to return to WWE.
The report also notes there has been a lot of talk as of late regarding the possibility of Punk returning to the company.
It was further noted there have been rumors Punk will be returning to WWE. However, some within the company have said no deal has been finalized and those close to Punk told F4WOnline, it is his intention to return and the two sides are in currently in talks.
WWE will be holding next month’s Survivor Series at the Allstate Arena in just outside of Chicago, which is Punk’s hometown.
The report also notes that despite being terminated from AEW, Punk was the top merchandise seller for the company.
Furthermore, F4WOnline also reported that AEW’s Dax Harwood, on Thursday filed to trademark the name of Punk and FTR’s trios tag team in AEW, “CMFTR.” The filing was submitted on through attorney, Michael E. Dockins.
