Backstage update on WWE Superstar sidelined with an injury

Fightful Select has provided an update on the status of WWE Superstar Luke Gallows. He has been out of action for over a month, with his last match taking place at a house show in Canada.

Per the new report from Fightful Select, Gallows recently had his knee scoped, which is said to be a process that usually can take up to six weeks. Fightful Select further noted the exact timetable of when that six weeks starts is not known at the time of their report.

During commentary on the September 15 episode of WWE SmackDown Michael Cole said that Luke Gallows is currently injured, which is why he was unable to be at ringside with AJ Styles and Karl Anderson during Styles’ match against Judgment Day’s Finn Balor. Cole did not provide any details on the nature of Gallows’ injury or how long he will be out of action.

Gallows last appeared in a backstage segment during the September 8 SmackDown, when Styles, before his match with Jimmy Uso, got into and verbal argument with him, Anderson and Michin. Styles would go on to slap a cell phone out of the hand of Anderson. Gallows last wrestled at WWE’s SuperShow back on Sunday, August 20, teaming up with Styles and Anderson with victory over Austin Theory, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin.
