Jimmy Uso is set to return to WWE SmackDown next week.
During a backstage segment on Friday night’s SmackDown, Kayla Braxton interviewed Paul Heyman and asked him about the current status of The Bloodline. Heyman did not provide Braxton with any answers. He did however, answer a call. After he hung up, he said that he was informed Jimmy Uso would be returning to next week’s show.
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Jey Uso confronted his brother about turning on him at SummerSlam, keeping him from winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Jimmy told Jey he only did what he did because he didn’t want to see Jey become tribal chief and turn into an a—— like Roman Reigns. Jey superkicked Jimmy and then turned to the camera and said he quit The Bloodline, SmackDown and WWE.
Also, scheduled for next Friday’s show, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Grayson Waller will square off. Mysterio was a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect during this week’s show.
Waller accused Mysterio of not being ready to pass the torch to Escobar, which Mysterio denied. Escobar, who also appeared on the segment, said the only person he is mad at is Austin Theory for attacking him and taking him out, prior to their United States Title Match, costing him his opportunity to win the championship.
Next Friday night’s WWE SmackDown will take place from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
