According to an exclusive report from Variety, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” which features WWE’s John Cena as Rocksteady is getting a sequel.
The report also notes that in addition to the sequel, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies are also making plans for a two-season series that will serve as a “bridge” between the films with a spinoff series that will stream on Paramount+.
Variety did not note whether Cena and the Rocksteady character would return for the second film or for the spin-off.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” is set to release in theaters across the United States on August 2.
