TBS says AEW’s Blood & Guts reaches over 2 million total viewers

TBS issued a press release on Monday, stating that AEW’s Blood & Guts Match that aired during the second hour of last Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, reached more than 2.5 million viewers on the cable network.

TBS’ “AEW: Dynamite” Blood & Guts – Wednesday, July 19 Ratings

As the #1 cable telecast on Wednesday, July 19 from 8-10 PM ET, the live “AEW: Dynamite” Blood & Guts show from the TD Garden in Boston, Mass dominated cable on the night reaching more than 2.5 million total viewers on TBS.  

Presented by Discovery’s “Shark Week” and featuring the Golden Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt & Nick Jackson, Hangman Page and Kota Ibushi) squaring off against The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta), Konosuke Takeshita and PAC inside a double ring steel cage, the show garnered a 1.03 L3 rating among Adults 25-54, a 17% percent increase over the prior week and was TBS’ highest rated, most watched Primetime in that demo in more than two months. 

Among Men 25-54, the show was #1 for the night in all of TV, garnering a 1.40 L3 rating.  The show, which also featured Adam Cole & AEW World Champion MJF facing Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara in the Finals of the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament; Dr. Britt Baker DMD taking on Kayla Sparks; and Hook defending his FTW Championship against Jack Perry, garnered a .83 L3 rating among Adults 18-49, an 11% increase in viewership week over week.
