According to a report on from Fightful Select, at one point there was discussion that for the Men’s Money in Bank PLE, the Ladder Match would open the event and that The Bloodline Civil War Match would be the closer. It was also said the order of matches was not finalized until after the SmackDown taping on Friday in London, England.
The closing match, which will be the main event, is set to be Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio.
Fightful Select also notes that the main event for Saturday’s Money in the Bank PLE, some people in WWE were told the PLE was being built around the promotion of a “Triple Main Event,” with the idea being used going forward.
One WWE source stated to Fightful Select, “any more heat on Dominik Mysterio is a good thing.”
