We go to a video package hyping up the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The intro now begins and Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show.

MJF music hits and the crowd boos. MJF has red, white and blue trunks and knee pads.

MJF vs. Kip Morst

MJF goes right after Morst who is a local guy. MJF drops Morst on his head as the ref counts, but MJF gets up to boos. MJF then puts Morst in a crossface and submits him, making quick work of Morst.

After the match MJF calls for his music to stop and calls the Canadians stupid and tells them to keep their hillbilly mouths shut. He said he says he was supposed to have a day off, but he had to come to dumpy Hamilton. He calls the fans stupid white trash. He says that he will challenge anyone from Hamilton and put his title on the line. Steve Brown walks out and MJF calls him fat goo. Ethan Page who is from Hamilton walks out and enters the ring. Page slaps the mic out of MJF’s hand. He says to MJF we are not doing this crap in Hamilton. Page tells MJF he has no idea what he is capable from. Page says that he is father was lucky enough to get a job in Hamilton. Page told MJF not to listen to the spoon fed people like MJF. Page said his father went on to become a president of multiple companies and then called MJF a B—-. Page then says he is not his world champion. He says AEW calls Ethan Page and MJF is never around. Page says AEW called him to promote the Canadian tour. He said his wife asked him when AEW was going to pay him back for everything and he said in due time. He told MJF to be a man and put the title on the line from anyone from Hamilton tonight against Ethan Page!

We now have a title match.

MJF turns his back and side steps MJF and then stops on him in the corner. Page looking for Ego’s Edge, but MJF counters and starts working on Page’s knee to a loud amount of boos from the fans. Page is down on the mat holding his knee as MJF stomps on it to the fans chanting that MJF sucks. MJF works the knee again as page is trying to get out of the hold. Page is up and he knocks MJF in the mouth. MJF comes back and nails Page across the jaw and then puts him in a Boston Crab. Page crawls for the ropes, but MJF drags him to the center of the ring. Page again reaches for the bottom rope, but is pulled back by MJF who now has a half crab on Page. Page tries to crawl again, but is pulled to the center of the ring. Page tries to fight it, but can’t. MJF continues the half crab. Page finally makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. The fans begin a let’s go Ethan chant.

Picture-In-Picture: MJF picks up Page and slams him down. Page sends MJF to the outside of the ring and as Page comes back in the ring, MJF hits him to the mid-section with a knee. MJF then stomps on Page’s knee as he continues to work on it. MJF then has Page in a chokehold. As Page makes it to the ropes, the ref calls for the break. Page is on the apron and then brings Page back in and kicks him in the mid-section.

Back from the PIP, MJF pulls down Page’s knee pad and stomps on his knee. Page is up and he slaps the champion and then attempts punches, but MJF goes back to the left knee of Page. Page comes back and goes after MJF in the corner and picks him up off the top rope and drops him. Page covers MJF, but the champ kicks out at two and Page favors his knee. Page tries for the Ego’s Edge but can’t. He then hits a cutter on MJF. Page climbs to the top rope and MJF gets up and hits the rope and Page goes down. MJF and Page are fighting it out on the top rope. Page picks up MJF and powerslams him, but Page hits his knee and then rolls onto MJF as the ref counts, but MJF gets his foot on the bottom rope. Page is up limping. He picks up MJF and tries again for an Ego’s Edge, but his leg gives way and drops MJF. Page is limping as MJF hits him with a dragon screw leg whip and then covers Page to retain the title.

Winner and still AEW World Champion: MJF

After the match, MJF grabs the belt and walks off.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Quarterfinal: Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Dustin Rhodes

Back from the break, Dustin Rhodes is introduced first, followed by Powerhouse Hobbs who has QT Marshall with him.

The bell rings and we are underway. Both men lockup as Hobbs sends Rhodes to the corner and then slaps Hobbs. Rhodes has Hobbs in a headlock. Hobbs sends Rhodes to the ropes as they both attempt shoulder blocks. Rhodes sends Hobbs down and covers him but only for a one count. Hobbs has Rhodes in the corner and hits him with forearms. Hobbs then comes back with blows to the head to a good amount of boos. Rhodes fires back in the corner with chops on Hobbs. Rhodes climbs to the second rope and then the top. Hobbs picks up Rhodes and escapes, but Hobbs drives Rhodes to the outside. Hobbs goes to the outside and slams Rhodes’ face on the apron. Hobbs goes back into the ring and distracts the ref as QT pushes Rhodes into the ring post. Rhodes is busted open as we go to picture-in-picture.

Picture-In-Picture: A busted open Rhodes on floor is picked up by Hobbs and tossed back in the ring. Hobbs wipes Rhodes’ blood across his chest. Hobbs then has Rhodes against the ropes and rubs his forearm across the busted open forehead of Rhodes and keeps him in the corner as he walks off taunting the fans.

We now go to a full commercial break – so much for the full picture-in-picture.

Back from the break, Hobbs covers Rhodes, but only for a two count. Rhodes tries to fight back…Rhodes puts Hobbs down with a lariat. Hobbs stops Rhodes from a signature powerslam, but Rhodes comes back a hits Hobbs with a piledriver and covers him for only a two count! Both men are down. Rhodes is back up but Hobbs sends him to the corner. Hobbs is taken down on his head by Rhodes and covers him for a near fall! QT tries to interfere, but is dropped by Rhodes. Hobbs drops Rhodes with a huge spine buster and cover him for only a one count! Hobbs then picks up Rhodes as he fights back with elbow shots. Rhodes drops Hobbs with a powerslam and covers him for a near fall! Rhodes was going for a figure four. QT distracts the ref as Hobbs comes back with a spine buster to get the pin.

Hobbs moves on the semi-finals. Winner by pinfall: Powerhouse Hobbs

Video package hyping Roderick Strong and Samoa Joe. It was noted that its been 17 years since Strong and Joe have met in the ring.

Miro is introduced. He comes down to the ring with a serious look on his face. He walks slowly around the ring. Anthony Henry is already in the ring.

The bell rings as we are underway. Miro pushes Henry to the corner and then stomps on him to cheers. Miro picks up Henry and tosses him across the ring. Miro picks up Henry and slam him down, showing dominance. Miro picks up Henry and tosses him again. Henry is on the ring apron. Miro picks him up and slaps him across the chest. Miro picks up Henry and suplexes him back in the ring. Henry in the corner puts the boots to Miro and then hits with a double stomp off the top rope. Henry comes back with forearms to Miro, but Miro lowers the boom on Henry and he is down. Miro nails Henry with a huge kick to the face. Miro then puts the camel clutch on Henry who taps.

Winner by submission: Miro

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces Jay White, Juice Robinson and The Gunns – calling them the newest members of Bullet Club Gold.

All four men come out and walk slowly to the ring to boos. They all walk past the Owen Hart Cup which is on display at ringside. All four men are in the ring. The fans begin to chant a——. Tony asks what is next for Bullet Club Gold. Jay says he doesn’t like the energy and introduces the Gunns as the Golden Gunns and asks Tony if he is jealous and wants to join. Jay says Juice with wipe the floor with Ricky Starks. The Gunns asks why did they join Bullet Club Gold – its because Jay is a grand slam champion. They then ask why does BCG want The Gunns. They listed all the teams they beat and said they are also former tag champs and are the best tag team in the world. They said they have two words for the fans – no, its not…it’s Gunns up. Tony said that BCG is banned from ringside. Jay says who makes these decisions and then looks at the camera and talks to CM Punk in the camera and says if the goody in his bag is made of gold and is his AEW World Championship and leave it in the bag. Jay then addresses FTR and says they have gold and challenges FTR to a tag team title match against himself and Juice and says it will be top guys out and Gunns up.

We go backstage to Lexy Nair interviewing Punk, Starks and FTR. Punk tells Jay to go to AEW shop and buy a replica title. Punks says he doesn’t need bodyguards like the Gunns as he has the best tag team in the world on his side. Dax Harwood then says to Jay and Juice if they want to go at it, let’s do it. Starks then tells BCG they better pray as he is coming after them.

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Quarterfinal: Ricky Starks vs. Juice Robinson

Starks comes out as Robinson is already in the ring. Robinson jumps out of the ring, but comes back in.

The bell rings and here we go…the fans start a small Ricky chant. Juice jaws at Ricky and tell him he can beat him on his own. Ricky grabs the left arm of Juice, but Juice gets out of it. Ricky drops Juice with a hip toss. Ricky has Juice down on the mat, but Juice gets out of the hold. Juice trips Ricky as he goes down. Ricky’s face hit the middle rope as he went down that gives an opening to Juice who hits him with left hands in the cheek and jaw. Juice then works on the left leg and knee of Ricky with a serious of elbow drops. Ricky fights back with elbows to the face of Juice. Both men are up and exchange blows to the face. Juice then whiplashes the legs of Ricky into the bottom middle rope as he goes down in pain. Juice does it again to boos as we go to picture-in-picture.

Picture-In-Picture: Ricky is up, but Juice kicks him as he goes down hard on the left knee. Ricky makes it to the corner as Juice taunts him. Ricky tries to fight back, but its not enough for Juice who drops him down and covers him for only a two count. Juice has Ricky in a headlock.

Okay, here we go again – another full commercial break…so much for a full picture-in-picture. I am wondering if this is a Sling TV thing or if its TNT.

Okay, now we are back…Juice is slapping Ricky across the chest in the corner. Juice backs up and charges Ricky and connects with a cannonball in the corner. Juice covers Ricky who gets his shoulder up at two. Juice is taunting Ricky and pushes on his head with his boot. Ricky comes back and tells Juice to bring it on! Juice tires to put Ricky down, but can’t. Ricky tells Juice to bring it on again. Ricky puts Juice down with a series of right hands. Ricky’s leg gives way, but he has enough to come back and hit a DDT on Juice. Ricky then drops Juice again with a tornado DDT and covers him for only a two count. Ricky is slow to get up. Juice is on the apron. Ricky looks to put Juice away, but is kicked in the leg by Juice as he kicks Ricky and covers him for a near fall! The fans start a small Ricky chant. Juice has Ricky in a Texas cloverleaf. Ricky can’t get to the bottom rope. Ricky crawls to the bottom rope and makes it! The ref breaks the hold as he is on the apron on the outside. Juice picks up Ricky and tries to suplex him, but Ricky counters. Juice rolls up Ricky and has a handfull of tight, but Ricky kicks out. Ricky slams down Juice as Ricky is up first. He picks up Juice, but he grabs the apron of the ring. Ricky sends Juice to the corner, but Juice hit him with a huge headbutt. Ricky is on the top rope as Juice slaps him. Juice is up on the top rope. Ricky pushes him down. Ricky gets down and is hit by Juice with a spear. Juice covers Ricky to only a two count. Ricky then hits Juice with a spear, a jacknife and then rolls him up for the win.

Ricky Starks advances to the semifinals. Winner by pinfall: Ricky Starks

After the match, Bullet Club Gold come out and surround the ring. FTR, and Punk come to make the save to boos. The heels retreat through the crowd.

We go to a backstage interview with Lexy Nair and Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. Lexy asks Christian why he has the belt. Christian cuts her off. Shawn Spears then comes in and says he wants to talk to the champ. Cage tells Spears no more open challenges ands that he is not dangerous and never will be so he should walk away. Spears says everyone is dangerous and he will see you soon – champ and looks at Luchasaurus who growls.

TBS Championship Open Challenge Match: Kris Statlander defends against Lady Frost

Kris Statlander comes out to a good ovation. Lady Frost is a former IMPACT Wrestling talent.

The bell rings and we begin. Both women lockup. Kris has Frost in the corner as the ref calls for the break. Frost ties up Kris as she breaks the hold. Kris picks up Frost and slams her down. Frost then is back up and fights back with knee strikes in the mid-section of Kris, but Kris sends her down to a big ovation from the Hamilton fans. Frost is sent down with a shoulder block by Kris as Frost extends a forearm and catches the champion. Kris comes back and lands a knee on the back of Frost who goes down.

Picture-In-Picture: Kris picks up Frost and suplexes her. Kris covers Frost for only a two count. Kris picks up Frost yet again, but Frost counters with a roll up as Kris kicks out at two! Frost picks up Kris and grabs her arm, but Kris fights back, but is dropped with a kick by Frost who then covers Kris for only a two count.

Back from PIP, Kris drops Frost with a piledriver. Kris is up to her feet and picks up Frost, but she counters and then lands a side step German Suplex on Kris. Frost then hits Kris with a round house kick. Frost goes to the top rope. Kris is up and Frost comes down. Kris picks up Frost but Frost counters and then Kris his Frost with a lariat and drops Kris with what Nigel says is Saturday goodnight for the win (inverted piledriver) for the win.

Lexy Nair is backstage with Andrade. He addresses the House of Black. He says the House of Black stole his mask and wants them to show their faces. The area goes dark and the TV behind Andrade has House of Black saying in good time and the TV goes off.

Nigel and Kevin run down the card for Dynamite and then we announces we have Tag Team Eliminator Match for next with FTR vs. Jay White and Juice Robinson.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

Back from the break, CM Punks music hits to CM Punks chants. He is being booed. Its a mixed reaction, but the boos seem more than cheers. He head to the commentary table as he signs and autograph at first.

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Quarterfinal: Samoa Joe vs. Roderick Strong (CM Punk will be on commentary during the match)

Strong is out first. Samoa Joe then comes out to “Joe” chants.

Strong starts barking at Joe. The bell ring and we start. Joe looks around as the fans chant for him. Joe grabs Strong’s arm, but he counters it and breaks the hold. Strong has Joe in a headlock. Joe makes it to the corner as the ref breaks the hold. Joe slaps Strong across the chest and Strong comes back with a drop kicks on Joe. Strong is on the outside. Joe follows as Strong goes back in the ring and then takes out Joe on the floor. Both men are exchanging blows on the outside. Joe rolls back in the ring as Strong stomps on Joe to some boos. Strong kicks Joe in the corner, but Joe slaps Joe Strong as both men exchange chops. Joe is down and Strong has Joe in a chokehold. Joe is back up on his feet and pushes Strong to the ropes. Joe is able to come back and lower the boom on Strong to Joe chants. Joe has Strong in the corner and pummels him and then slaps with a huge chop in the chest. Joe drivers Strong to the mat and covers him for only a two count.

Its time for picture-in-picture: Strong goes to the corner and works on Strong with slaps to the chest. Joe grabs Strong and is twisting his neck as the ref checks on Strong who signals he isn’t giving up. Strong gets to his feet, but Joe slaps him and he goes down. Joe then fires back with elbow drops on Strong. The ref checks on Strong as Joe picks him up and nails him with a headbutt.

Back from PIP – Strong comes back with a knee to Joe on the jaw and covers him for only a one count. Joe comes back and lays punches and chops on Strong in the corner. Strong comes back with huge chops on Joe, but its not enough as Joe drops Strong and hits him with a senton. Joe covers Strong, but he kicks out at two! Joe makes another cover, but Strong kicks out again! Joe picks up Strong and tosses him down. Joe attempts to drop on Strong, but he moves out of the way. Strong comes back with offense, but Joe didn’t move. Joe goes down with a dropkick. Joe is up and fights back. Strong scoops up Joe and drops him hard to the mat and then kicks him. Strong then kicks Joe and covers him for a near fall! Strong is up on the top rope and lands a drop kick on Joe. He covers him for only a two count. Strong picks up Joe for an Olympic Slam. Strong covers Joe, but he kicks out at two! Strong then connects on Joe with a dropping knee. Joe then puts Strong in the coquina clutch as Strong passes out.

Samoa Joe advances to the semifinals. Winner by submission: Samoa Joe

After the match, Joe grabs a chair and challenges Punk as security comes out between Punk and Joe. Joe tosses down the chair in the ring and goes into the ring and drops Strong on the chair and leaves the ring quickly as Punk enters the ring. Adam Cole then comes out as the medical staff are checking on Strong. The medical team puts Strong in a neck brace as they place him on a stretcher and strap him in. Cole tells Strong he will be alright as Punk pulls the ropes up so the medical team can get Strong out. A small Roddy chant begins. The medical team wheels out Strong as Punk looks on as the fans chant CM Punk, as the show goes off the air.
