AEW star Bryan Danielson’s injury from this past Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view is worse than expected, according to his wife – WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella (Garcia).
On Tuesday, Brie took to her Instagram Stories and posted an x-ray of her husband’s arm, which clearly shows that it is broken.
Brie wrote the following captions in the image of the x-ray.
“Not sure to be proud or chastise him for wrestling 10 more minutes with this break!!” “Definitely worse than we thought!! Nurse Brie ready for action!!”

During the Forbidden Door PPV media scrum, Danielson said he and the AEW medical staff believed that he had fractured his forearm with roughly ten minutes left in his match against Kazuchika Okada. Danielson also said that his arm was injured after Okada hit an elbow drop and that Danielson did not properly protect his arm before the elbow drop landed.
Danielson further stated during the scrum that he suffered a torn labrum at the Revolution PPV in his match against MJF. Since the Revolution PPV, he has only wrestled twice. The other match was Anarchy in the Arena at the Double or Nothing PPV back on May 28.
