WWE Superstars Bayley and Shotzi took to social media to react to their planned match that was cut from last Friday night’s WWE SmackDown.
Bayley and Shotzi were scheduled to square-off on last Friday’s show, where if Bayley lost she would give up her Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match spot to Shotzi.
Shotzi, on her Instagram Stories, post a black screen with the word “nevermind.” Bayley posted on her Twitter the following:
“Card subject to change.. Sorry. Sorry you couldn’t watch me beat dat ass.”
We reported last Friday evening that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had made “significant changes” to that episode of SmackDown. The changes were reportedly so drastic that one person backstage reportedly asked if SmackDown got “Vinced?” In addition, there were also several talent that ended up very frustrated as a result of the changes made.
A Triple Threat Match that had been advertised earlier in the day that was to be between LA Knight, Santos Escobar, and Butch was also cut. The match was replaced with LA Knight vs. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, which Knight won clean.
Baron Corbin vs. Cameron Grimes, which was previously advertised also was cut from last Friday night’s show as well.
McMahon has also reportedly made big changes to the last two episodes of WWE Monday Night Raw.
