According to Fightful Select, AEW star Bryan Danielson has been working banged up.
The report also notes that several spots in the Anarchy in the Arena Match that took place at the 2023 Double or Nothing PPV were altered due to Danielson’s physical condition. The Match was Danielson’s first time wrestling since losing t0 MJF in the Iron Man Match for the World Championship the 2023 AEW Revolution PPV back on March 5.
Danielson has been kept out of in-ring action for the most part. AEW has been featuring him as a guest on commentary for several of the Blackpool Combat Club’s matches.
Bryan Danielson is scheduled to square off with Kazuchika Okada at this Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II pay-per-view.
