A new report from Fightful Select is indicating that movement in contract negotiations between AEW and The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page, Kenny Omega, and the Young Bucks) have reached a point of minimal movement.
The report states that there are still no deals between the two sides, and that not much has changed over the past few months; however, sources say they’ve come close a few times as of late, with AEW feeling very confident they’ll retain the group.
This confidence appears to be reflected in the thought process of WWE’s camp as well, as sources close to the situation have reported that WWE is also under the belief that the group will ultimately re-sign with AEW.
