Kofi Kingston, who sustained an injury during the 3/3 edition of SmackDown, was a recent guest on the Battleground Podcast.
During the interview, Kingston gave an update on his road to recover, stating he was on the mend and working his way back toward in-ring competition.
In talking about getting back into in-ring shape, Kingston added:
“I’m really able to do a lot of normal people things and live a normal life. So now it’s just a matter of trying to go to the next level and do WWE Superstar things. You know what I mean, in-ring things like that.”
Kingston and his New Day tag partner Xavier Woods were drafted to RAW as part of the 2023 WWE Draft, whereas Big E was not drafted due to still recovering from a broken neck previously sustained.
