Mustafa Ali is scheduled to be in action on this Tuesday’s episode of NXT, live on the USA Network.
Ali appeared on last week’s episode and joined the commentary team for the match with NXT North American Champion Wes Lee and Tyler Bate taking on Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler of The Dyad.
After Lee and Bates win, Joey Gacy came in at attacked both Lee and Bates, Ali came in to make the save.
WWE NXT announced on Twitter Sunday that Ali and Gacy will go one-on-one this Tuesday on NXT.
Ali is a ‘free agent’ due to not being selected for any brand duke the 2023 Draft, so he is free to show up on any WWE TV show.
Baron Corbin, who is also a ‘free agent’ attacked Carmelo Hayes after he defeated Noam Dar to retain the NXT Championship.
As Hayes celebrated his win, Baron Corbin ran in and attacked him from behind. Corbin left Hayes lying in ring, and then picked up the NXT Championship raised it above his head as the episode came to an end.
