Court Bauer on his lawsuit against WWE: Judge asks to “beef up some aspects” of MLW’s case

During an appearance on the Business of the Business podcast, Major League Wrestling CEO Court Bauer was asked to comment about his anti-trust lawsuit against WWE.

Bauer said the judge told him he his needs to “beef up some aspects” of his case. Bauer went on say he felt that “was an encouraging sign.” Bauer closed by saying that if MLW moves forward, he is sharpening his fork and knife for discovery.

You’re trying to get me into trouble (Bauer jokingly said when asked about the MLW/WWE lawsuit). I’ll say this, there’s really not gonna be any news on this I guess until mid-summer. But, it’s a process… The judge had the right to just dismiss the case and say peace out. What he did is he said, ‘You need to beef up some of these aspects of your case. Please resubmit,’ which I thought was an encouraging sign. I’m no lawyer. I just play one on MLW TV and my name is Court but, it’s something that you say, okay and hopefully we did our job. He asked us to resubmit our homework, we did and hopefully we’ve satisfied his needs to move forward and if we move forward, I am sharpening my fork and knife for discovery.
